A window or door is only as good as the daylight it lets in and the heat, noise, and weather it keeps out. Photos tell that story faster than any claim we could type. Below are real project scenarios we see across San Antonio, from Terrell Heights bungalows to stone-front homes off Bandera Road, showing the kind of work our crews do every week.

Aluminum Single-Pane to Double-Pane Vinyl in Alamo Heights
Before
AfterThe house still had its original single-pane aluminum frames from the early 1980s, and the west-facing living room window had become a heat lamp by 4 p.m. every afternoon. We pulled the old frames, corrected a small sill rot that had been hiding behind the trim, and installed double-pane PGT vinyl units with a low-E coating. The room now stays roughly eight to ten degrees cooler at the same time of day, and the street noise from Broadway faded to a low murmur. Keith Yamada, our owner, took one look at the old frames and said, “Forty years. They had a good run.”
Patio Door Swap: Stuck Slider to Smooth Multi-Slide in Stone Oak
Before
AfterThe old aluminum slider groaned on its track and required a two-handed shove to move. The rubber weatherstrip had flattened years ago, so the gap let in hot air all summer and let the AC run harder. We installed a Therma-Tru multi-slide door with new rollers, a squared frame, and a fresh seal that closed the gap. The homeowner can now open it with two fingers, and the utility bill dropped enough in the first month that they called back to say thanks.
Kitchen Window Over the Sink in Cibolo
Before
AfterA small casement window over the kitchen sink had a crank handle that had stripped, so the window had not opened in three years. The family had a baby and a beagle, so we worked with pet-safe sealants, kept the drop cloths tight under the work area, and finished the cut-in during the baby’s nap window. The new ES Windows casement opens smoothly with one hand and gives the whole kitchen cross-breeze again. Nothing hit the counters, and the clean-up photo was sent to the phone before the crew pulled out of the driveway.
Drafty Bedroom Windows in a 1970s Ranch off Wurzbach

The two kids’ bedrooms shared a wall of old wood-framed windows that had swollen in the humidity and refused to lock. In winter, the curtains moved when the north wind picked up. We removed the old units, replaced the rotten stops, and installed Mr-Glass double-hung windows that close with a solid click and lock properly. The parents told us the kids slept through their first January cold front without an extra blanket.
Front Door Refresh in the Deco District

This 1930s-era home had a hollow-core front door that had warped enough to see daylight around the top edge. The homeowner wanted a door that kept the period character but actually sealed. We installed a Therma-Tru fiberglass door with a glass inlay that echoes the original, then re-built the threshold and added new weatherstripping so the door closes with a firm thud. It now holds temperature in the entry hall and looks like it was always meant to be there.
Full-Home Window Replacement in Helotes with Stucco Exterior

A two-story stucco home in Helotes needed all 19 windows replaced, and the west-facing wall had been taking direct Hill Country sun for twenty years. We mixed CGI impact-rated units on the exposed west wall with CWS double-pane on the north and east, which gave the family real storm protection without paying for impact glass where it was not needed. The crew worked room by room, moved the furniture once with the homeowner’s blessing, and left a written price sheet visible on the kitchen counter the whole time so there was never a surprise.
