When you call our San Antonio office, you’re not calling a call center in another state. You’re reaching the people who will actually show up at your door, walk your roofline, and measure your openings. Our crew is small on purpose. Keith Yamada, the owner, has built the team around a simple idea: hire people who would treat your living room floor like their own, then give them the time and the tools to do the job right. Every technician is background-checked, uniformed, and trained on the Cedarwell Care Promise that has guided this work since 2010. You’ll know their names before they ring the bell.

Our People
Keith Yamada, Owner
Keith has spent years looking at windows the way a mechanic looks at an engine: frame first, then seals, then glass, then the way it all moves together. A forty-year-old aluminum frame with fogged glass had a good run, he’ll tell you, but San Antonio’s heat and humidity eventually win. He started this location because he wanted to run a window and door company where the person who prices the job is also the person accountable for how it turns out. When he’s not on a ladder or walking a job site, he’s usually answering the phone himself, because a live person at 10 p.m. matters when a new install isn’t closing right.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has installed and serviced more window brands than most people can name, and he can tell you why a PGT impact window behaves differently in July than a Mr-Glass double-hung. His specialty is tricky retrofits: old San Antonio bungalows in Monte Vista, 1970s two-stories in Alamo Heights, and everything in between. He’s the one who walks the job first, notes the framing condition, and decides whether the original rough opening can stay or needs rebuilding. Off the clock, Marcus restores old motorcycles, which explains his patience for rusted fasteners and stubborn hardware.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena has been setting windows and doors for over a decade, and she’s the reason our installs look finished, not just functional. She handles interior trim, exterior flashing, and the detail work that separates a clean install from one that leaks air six months later. Elena leads most two-person window crews and keeps a clean site as a rule, not a request: drop cloths down before tools, shoe covers on at the door, and a photo of the cleanup before we leave, every single time. She’s also the team member most likely to ask about your dog’s name and then make sure the gate stays latched all day.
Danny C., Service Coordinator and Apprentice Installer
Danny is usually the first voice you hear when you call. He schedules estimates, walks you through the written price before any work starts, and tracks every open job from first call to final walkthrough. He’s also training as an installer, which means the person booking your appointment understands what actually happens on site, not just what’s on the calendar. Danny keeps the crews moving and the customers informed, and if there’s ever a question about a schedule or a material delay, he calls you before you have to call us.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Lightwell location follows the same Cedarwell Care Promise, and in San Antonio that means the crew works to the C.A.R.E. values on every visit. C: Clean up like it’s our own home, with shoe covers and drop cloths down before the first tool comes out of the truck. A: Ask before we move or touch anything, from a potted plant on the porch to a couch that’s two feet too close to the window. R: Respect your family’s time and quiet hours, which is why we use quiet tools during nap time when we can and never blast music while we work. E: Explain the price before the work, in writing, with no surprises at the end. That standard doesn’t change depending on which technician walks through your door. It’s the same team, the same checklist, and the same promise every time. And if something isn’t done right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means we make it right, no debate and no countdown.
A light well is what brings daylight deep into a building, and that’s what a well-installed window should do for your home. That’s the standard Keith, Marcus, Elena, and Danny work to in San Antonio.
